The decision to dismiss them was made due to their involvement in providing logistics support to terrorists and their attempts to raise funds for these extremist outfits. The J&K government conducted a thorough investigation, leading to the implementation of Article 311 (2) (c) of the Indian Constitution as the basis for their dismissal.
