New Delhi, May 18: Kiren Rijiju expressed his gratitude and privilege in serving as the Union Minister of Law and Justice, extending his thanks to the judiciary, including Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, for their tremendous support. However, Rijiju’s focus now shifts towards fulfilling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision in the Earth Sciences Ministry.
Rijiju’s comments came shortly after a surprising cabinet reshuffle by the prime minister, which resulted in his transition from the Law and Justice portfolio to the Minister for Earth Sciences.
Taking to Twitter, Rijiju conveyed his honor and privilege in serving under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He expressed his gratitude to Chief Justice of India Chandrachud, judges from the Supreme Court, high courts, lower judiciary, and law officers for their significant support in facilitating access to justice and legal services for citizens.
With the same enthusiasm and dedication he possesses as a dedicated BJP member and three-term Lok Sabha representative from Arunachal Pradesh, Rijiju eagerly looks forward to realizing PM Narendra Modi’s vision for the Earth Sciences Ministry.
