Bhind / New Delhi, May 29 : An Indian Air Force (IAF) Apache attack helicopter made a “precautionary landing” near Bhind in Madhya Pradesh on Monday, according to an IAF official. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
“The aircraft was on a routine training mission when the pilot decided to perform a precautionary landing near Bhind,” stated an IAF spokesperson in Delhi. Officials clarified that a precautionary landing is conducted when there are minor issues with the aircraft, prompting the pilot to land as a safety measure.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:45 am, as confirmed by the IAF spokesperson. Thankfully, no harm was caused to individuals or property. The aircraft is currently under examination to assess and address any concerns.
In viral videos circulating on social media platforms, a gathering of people near the aircraft can be seen. However, Chambal Zone Inspector General of Police, S Saxena, affirmed that no fatalities or injuries occurred during the landing process.
