New Delhi, May 30 : Celebrating nine years in power, the saffron party led by Prime Minister Modi claimed that every decision made during this period was aimed at improving the lives of the people. Prime Minister Modi expressed humility and gratitude on this occasion, emphasizing the government’s commitment to building a developed India. He took to Twitter, stating, “Today, as we complete 9 years in service to the nation, I am filled with humility and gratitude. Every decision made, every action taken, has been guided by the desire to improve the lives of people. We will keep working even harder to build a developed India. #9YearsOfSeva.”
Highlighting the achievements of the Modi-led administration, the Union Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas cited notable accomplishments such as the repeal of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. The minister also mentioned the construction of 3.5 crore urban and rural houses under the PM Awas Yojana, the provision of free rations to 80 crore people, and the construction of 11.72 toilets under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Additionally, the government’s handling of the Covid-19 pandemic was commended, with over 220 crore vaccine doses administered during the outbreak.
Addressing the progress in Arunachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Pema Khandu praised the transformative development under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. He highlighted improvements in various sectors, including the state’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), state budget, infrastructure projects, and initiatives to uplift women and boost the rural economy.
To commemorate the achievements of the nine-year tenure, a month-long nationwide “special contact campaign” will be organized. The party stated that the country has experienced unprecedented growth in all areas over the past nine years, with experts predicting that the 21st century belongs to India due to the comprehensive development spearheaded by the government.
On May 26, 2014, Narendra Modi assumed office as Prime Minister for the first time, and on May 30, 2019, he took the oath of office for a second consecutive term.
