Jammu, Jun 8: The grand opening of the Tirupati Balaji Temple in the serene Shivalik forests of Majeen, Jammu and Kashmir, took place on Thursday. Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the temple dedicated to Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy via video conferencing. Spread across a vast 62-acre area, the temple is poised to become one of the largest in the Jammu region, offering a significant boost to religious and pilgrimage tourism in the Union territory. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, along with Union Ministers Jitendra Singh and G Kishan Reddy, were present at the inauguration ceremony.
