Jammu 8th June’23: Department of Business Administration, Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) successfully conducted a comprehensive and impactful ”2-day Capacity Building Workshop on Entrepreneurship Development programme “aimed at fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and empowering the students of 2nd Sem of Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu. The workshop, held on the 7th and 8th of June’23, brought together aspiring entrepreneurs, and seasoned mentors to provide valuable insights and guidance to the participants.
The 2-day workshop featured diverse sessions and interactive activities, all designed to provide a holistic understanding of entrepreneurship and its practical implications. Esteemed speakers and industry experts shared their expertise on various topics, including ideation, market research, business planning, funding strategies, marketing, and scaling a startup. Participants also had the opportunity to engage in hands-on exercises, group discussions, and case studies, enhancing their problem-solving abilities and fostering a collaborative environment.
Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Rakwal, Principal, Maulana Azad Memorial College, Jammu lauded the efforts of the Department of Business Administration for conducting a workshop on such a pertinent area as it fosters the spirit of entrepreneurship and equips young minds with the necessary skills to transform their ideas into successful ventures.
Dr. Majid Manzoor Khan, Associate Sr. Faculty, JKEDI and Dr. Vinod Kumar, Teaching Associate, JKEDI were the resource persons for the workshop. The workshop was organized under the supervision of Dr. Bharti Salathia, Head,Department of Business Administration. The entire workshop was coordinated by Prof. Meena Gupta. Prof. Ajay Virdi and Prof. Shiv Kumar were part of the organizing team.
The 2-day workshop concluded with the distribution of certificates of participation to all attendees, acknowledging their commitment to personal and professional growth.
