Jammu, June 9 : The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) has reported a 3.9 magnitude earthquake that struck Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir on Friday. According to officials, there have been no reports of injuries or property damage.
The earthquake occurred at 10:23 am and lasted only a few seconds, as stated by the NCS. With a depth of 10 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface, the earthquake’s epicenter was located at latitude 35.64 degrees north and longitude 76.62 degrees east, specifically in Ladakh, according to officials.
