Srinagar, June 12: After a dry spell in Jammu and Kashmir over the past 24 hours, the Meteorological (MeT) office has predicted the onset of rain starting from Tuesday.
“Today is expected to be a clear and warmer day compared to yesterday.”
“From May 13 to 17, the weather is likely to be partly to generally cloudy, with scattered places in J&K experiencing light rain and thunderstorms.”
According to a statement by the MeT office, “Certain areas in the Jammu region have a 60% chance of receiving moderate to heavy thundershowers on the 14th and 15th.”
Srinagar recorded a minimum temperature of 14.6 degrees Celsius, while Pahalgam and Gulmarg registered 7.2 and 10 degrees Celsius, respectively.
In the Ladakh region, Leh reported a minimum temperature of 6 degrees Celsius.
Jammu experienced a minimum temperature of 25.3 degrees Celsius, while Katra, Batote, Banihal, and Bhaderwah recorded minimum temperatures of 20.5, 14.7, 12.1, and 10.5 degrees Celsius, respectively.
