JAMMU, Jun 17: Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir experienced a minor earthquake today, measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale. The seismic activity occurred at 14:03:54 pm local time, originating from Ramban itself. The earthquake was relatively shallow, taking place at a depth of 5km.
This incident marks the seventh reported earthquake in the Chenab Valley region. Fortunately, there have been no reports of any casualties or damage resulting from today’s tremor.
