New Delhi, June 29 : On the auspicious occasion of Eid al-Adha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm greetings to Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, and the people of Kuwait. Through a personal letter, PM Modi emphasized the values of sacrifice, compassion, and brotherhood celebrated during Eid al-Adha, which resonate with millions of Muslims in India.
The Indian Embassy in Kuwait confirmed PM Modi’s message, highlighting the festival’s significance in fostering peace and inclusivity. Earlier, the Prime Minister also conveyed his greetings to Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina, expressing confidence that Eid al-Adha would further strengthen the bond between India and Bangladesh.
Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a revered occasion observed by Muslims worldwide, symbolizing devotion and unity. Falling on the 10th day of Dhu’l-Hijjah, the final month of the Islamic calendar, the festival holds deep religious and cultural importance.
