Bengaluru, Jul 19: On Wednesday, officials reported that the Central Crime Branch (CCB) in Bengaluru, Karnataka, has apprehended five individuals believed to be involved in terrorist activities. The suspects, hailing from different areas of the capital city, were allegedly planning a meticulous explosion. Identified as Sayed Suhel, Umar, Janid, Mudasir, and Jahid, all five were previously accused in a 2017 murder case and were incarcerated at Parappana Agrahara Central jail, where they came into contact with other individuals linked to terrorism, according to CCB officials.
Acting on reliable information, a team successfully located and arrested the suspected terrorists. Further investigations are ongoing, and additional details are yet to be disclosed.
