SRINAGAR, July 24: Jammu and Kashmir Police apprehended two suspects on Monday for allegedly killing a stray dog in Srinagar’s Badamwari area. The arrested individuals have been identified as Gulzar Ahmad Beigh from Rehmaniya Colony, Lal Bazar, and Adnan Shah from Hawal Badamwari, as stated in a tweet by the police on Sunday night.
According to the authorities, the duo was arrested on charges of cruelty and brutality in connection with the killing of a stray dog near Badamwari Rainawari on July 21, 2023. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the law at Police Station Rainawari.
The official tweet from Srinagar police reads, “Two people, Gulzar Ahmad Beigh of Rehmaniya colony, Lal Bazar, and Adnan Shah of Hawal Badamwari, were arrested for cruelty and brutally killing a stray dog near Badamwari Rainawari on July 21, 2023.
