Jammu , Apr 14: The Shri Amarnathji Yatra, a pilgrimage to the holy Amarnath cave, is scheduled to take place from July 1 to August 31, lasting a total of 62 days. Online and offline registration for the Yatra will begin on April 17, according to an announcement made by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The administration is committed to ensuring a smooth and hassle-free pilgrimage experience, with top-notch healthcare and essential facilities for devotees and service providers. The pilgrimage will commence simultaneously from both the Pahalgam and Baltal routes, with high levels of cleanliness and waste management being emphasized. Additionally, the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board will provide live telecast of morning and evening prayers for devotees around the world, while an app has been developed to provide real-time information about the Yatra and various online services. At a recent meeting, the SASB reviewed several aspects of the pilgrimage, including helicopter services, service providers, camps, langars, and insurance cover for Yatris.
