New Delhi, October 7 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a meeting on Saturday to assess the progress in implementing various initiatives he had announced during his Independence Day address earlier this year.
An official statement highlighted that Prime Minister Modi had emphasized the importance of providing affordable credit to the poor and middle-class for home ownership in his speech. Additionally, he had underscored the need to ensure widespread access to solar power for households.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister scrutinized the preparations for implementing these initiatives, as outlined in the statement. Key officials, including his Principal Secretary P K Mishra and Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba, participated in the meeting, during which a presentation was delivered to highlight the ongoing efforts in this regard.
