Srinagar, Apr 17 : The authorities have announced that there will be a suspension of traffic on the Srinagar-Kargil road on April 18th and 19th. According to a statement by the Traffic Department, the road needs to be immediately widened due to frequent avalanches. As a result, the widening work will cause the traffic on the road to be halted for the mentioned dates. The public is advised to make necessary travel arrangements accordingly.
