New Delhi, October 10 : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) activists held a demonstration on DDU Marg in New Delhi on Tuesday, protesting against the actions of central agencies targeting their leaders.
The protest unfolded shortly after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted a raid at the residence of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan in New Delhi as part of a money-laundering investigation involving him and others.
During the demonstration, several protesters were apprehended by the police when they attempted to march from the AAP office to the BJP headquarters situated on DDU Marg.
Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh are presently incarcerated in a money-laundering case related to alleged irregularities in the now-defunct excise policy.
AAP leaders, including Arvind Kejriwal, have vehemently refuted the accusations, asserting that the cases initiated by investigative agencies are baseless.
