New Delhi, July 29 : On Saturday, BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda announced the names of the party’s national office-bearers, with particular attention to the poll-bound states of Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Notably, two former chief ministers, Raman Singh and Vasundhara Raje, have been appointed as vice-presidents for their respective states, where assembly elections are scheduled later this year.
According to a communique issued by the BJP, other notable appointments include former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das, Baijayant Panda, and Rekha Verma as vice-presidents. Additionally, Arun Singh, Kailash Vijayvargiya, Dushyanth Kumar Gautam, and Tarun Chugh have been named as national general secretaries.
Furthermore, the list of office-bearers appointed by Nadda includes national secretaries, with Pankaja Munde and Rituraj Singha being among those announced by the BJP.
Earlier this week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his assurance that India would rank among the top three economies globally during his third term. This assurance was interpreted as a reference to his government’s potential return to power in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
Confident in their prospects, the BJP anticipates returning to power in the 2024 General Elections.
