Jammu, Nov 22: ‘Your living is determined not so much by what life brings to you as by the attitude you bring to life; not so much by what happens to you as by the way your mind looks at what happens.’
How this Khalil Gibran’s allegory perfectly matches the outlook and aura sported by Supreet Kour , one could simply catch upon, once she stands up to her glamour and glitter intermixed with humility and compassion she commands.
She is a new celebrity on the fashion front recently crowned with Mrs India Second Runner Pageant at Three Cheers beauty contest and says reaching out to one child in distress and helping him/her through charity is her supreme worship.
In a tete-a-tete with Jammu Express about her cherished dreams and inner instincts coalescing in harmony to bring fame to her doorsteps , Supreet Kour said that it was just a momentary figure of speech from her mother to jump the bandwagon which she clung to and clinched the crown.
“ I was caught unaware when my mother asked me to list my name in the competition. Rapt, I took to the challenge and brought success home,” said Supreet , a broad smile on her face .
Mrs India Runner up adds up with humour about her son, the biggest fans of her, waiting for security guards soon to follow her celebrity mother.
Supreet , interestingly is a government official also, a perfect house tender and able manager of family chores, besides being a national celebrity at glamour and fashion – a knack seldom few possess.
“Teaching is my profession, art and fashion my passion, both of which I handle with care besides keeping my family in perfect mould. The unflinching support of my family is one strong factor that keeps my spirits buoyed up to reach more such competitions,” said Supreet who has been already shortlisted as one of the finalist at Glammon Beauty Pageant to be held at Goa in January 2021.
Standing five feet and seven inches tall, the charming and humble Supreet can undoubtedly be any Bollywood director’s choice for a film and she is looking forward to the opportunity also.
“Yes, I would definitely opt for the choice if opportunity knocks. Bollywood could be anybody’s dream and given a chance I would try to set an indelible mark to make my UT proud of,” said Supreet.
