Jammu, July 05 : The meteorological department in Srinagar has forecasted a cooler day on Tuesday, accompanied by the possibility of rain in scattered areas of Jammu and Kashmir within the next 24 hours. The region can expect generally cloudy weather, with light to moderate rain occurring in various locations. On July 5, intermittent rain and thunderstorms are anticipated in many parts of J&K. From July 6 to 8, intermittent light to moderate rain is expected in numerous areas, with the plains of Jammu potentially experiencing moderate to heavy spells in the morning hours.
Regarding the minimum temperatures, Srinagar recorded a low of 17.8°C, which was slightly above the normal for this time of year. Qazigund registered a low of 17.8°C, also exceeding the average temperature. Pahalgam, on the other hand, experienced below-normal temperatures with a low of 10.3°C. Kupwara, Kokernag, and Gulmarg reported temperatures slightly above normal, while Jammu observed a low of 26.7°C, slightly higher than usual. Banihal, Batote, Katra, and Bhaderwah also reported temperatures above or below the normal range.
