Kanakagiri (Karnataka), May 4 : Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticized the BJP government, blaming their “corrupt policies” for the rising prices of essential commodities and services. Speaking at an election rally in Koppal district of Karnataka, which is set to vote on May 10, she alleged that there was rampant corruption in the state, and referred to the BJP dispensation in Karnataka as a “40 per cent commission government” as claimed by the Contractors’ Association. She also raised concerns about alleged recruitment scams in the state, citing the example of the police sub-inspector scam. Vadra appealed to the people to not be swayed by the speeches of big BJP leaders on election day, but to focus on the issues affecting their daily lives.
