JAMMU, Apr 12: 4.0 Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Jammu and Kashmir; No Damage Reported. An earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter Scale hit the high-seismic zone of Jammu and Kashmir at 10:10 am on Wednesday, according to the National Center for Seismology. The quake occurred at a depth of 10 km and had a location of Lat: 34.44 & Long: 73.60. As of now, there are no reports of casualties or damage to property. The NCS tweeted about the earthquake, stating, “Earthquake of Magnitude: 4.0, Occurred on 12-04-2023, 10:10:51 IST, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Jammu and Kashmir, India.
