Amritsar, May 11th: In a series of unfortunate events, Amritsar witnessed yet another low-intensity blast near the revered Golden Temple today. This marks the third explosion in less than a week. Prompt action by the police led to the apprehension of three suspects immediately after the blast, which occurred in close proximity to the Guru Ram Dass Inn.
During the investigation, authorities discovered pamphlets at the scene, believed to have been thrown by one of the suspects who has confessed to orchestrating all three blasts. CCTV footage revealed that the bomb was thrown from the second floor of Guru Ram Dass Inn, specifically from a washroom window, into the ‘galiara,’ the pathway encircling the Golden Temple.
Authorities are actively investigating the incident to gather more information and ensure the safety of the revered site and its visitors.
