JAMMU: A fatal accident occurred on the Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Udhampur district last night, resulting in the death of a conductor and injury of a driver. According to officials, a dumper collided with a truck inside the Chanani-Nashri tunnel in Udhampur. The conductor of the dumper, identified as Balbir Chand of Samba, died on the spot, while the driver sustained injuries. Police have taken notice of the incident and are investigating the matter.
