SRINAGAR, May 26: Four residents from Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir have been detained under the stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) due to their alleged involvement in anti-national activities, according to police sources. The PSA allows for detention without trial for up to a year. The detainees, identified as Javaid Hussain Yatoo from Goshbugh Pattan, Jan Nisar Khaliq Ganai from Chanderhama Pattan, Abid Parvaiz Hajam from Andergam Pattan, and Nisar Ahmad Wani from Sultanpora Pattan, were apprehended and transferred to Kot-Bhalwal jail in Jammu. The individuals had multiple cases registered against them and continued their anti-national activities despite previous involvement, as stated by the police.
