SRINAGAR, Apr 18: Jammu and Kashmir Experiences Rain and Thunderstorms, Widespread Incidents Expected in Next 24 Hours: MeT Department
In the past 24 hours, Jammu and Kashmir has been hit by rain and thunderstorms, with the Meteorological Department predicting widespread occurrences over the next 24 hours. An official from the department stated that light to moderate rain and thunderstorms are expected to affect the region.
Minimum temperatures were recorded at 11 degrees Celsius in Srinagar, 5.6 degrees Celsius in Pahalgam, and 3.6 degrees Celsius in Gulmarg. Kargil and Leh in the Ladakh region reported minimum temperatures of 5.4 degrees Celsius and 5 degrees Celsius, respectively. Meanwhile, Jammu, Katra, Batote, Banihal, and Bhaderwah reported minimum temperatures of 20, 18.5, 12.6, 10.5, and 11.4 degrees Celsius, respectively.
