New Delhi : Commencing on August 16, the G20 Film Festival will kick off in New Delhi, featuring Satyajit Ray’s iconic film “Pather Panchali” as its opening showcase. The festival’s main objective is to honor and spotlight the dynamic and collaborative partnership that thrives between the G20 nations and the participating countries within the realm of cinema.
This significant cinematic event is co-organized by the India International Centre (IIC) and the G20 Secretariat of the Ministry of External Affairs. The inaugural ceremony will witness the presence of esteemed actor Victor Banerjee alongside India’s G20 Sherpa, Amitabh Kant. The festival is slated to run until September 2, offering a platform for diverse cinematic expressions and collaborations.
