New Delhi, Jun 27: According to the latest data from the Union Health Ministry, India has registered only 33 new coronavirus cases, marking the lowest daily count since March 2020. The active cases currently stand at 1,606, while the death toll has reached 5,31,903. The total COVID-19 case tally stands at 4.49 crore (4,49,94,032).
India’s national COVID-19 recovery rate stands at an impressive 98.81 percent, as stated on the health ministry website. The number of individuals who have successfully recovered from the disease has risen to 4,44,60,523, while the case fatality rate is recorded at 1.18 percent.
In terms of vaccinations, the ministry’s website reports that a remarkable 220.66 crore doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered throughout the country as part of the nationwide vaccination campaign.
