New Delhi, Apr 26 : Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced that Australia will host the Quad Leaders’ Summit in Sydney on May 24th. The summit will see the participation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, US President Joe Biden, and the Australian leader. This will be the first time Australia hosts the summit and the third in-person summit of the four-nation grouping. The Quad is a diplomatic partnership of four countries committed to promoting stability, resilience, and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific. During the summit, the leaders will discuss how the grouping can work alongside partners and regional groupings to strengthen cooperation and shape the region. The Quad leaders are committed to supporting an open, stable, and prosperous Indo-Pacific that is respectful of sovereignty and ensures security and growth for all.
