Apr 15 : Indian security forces have intercepted and shot down a drone that was flying near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab. The drone was spotted by the Border Security Force (BSF) on Wednesday evening in the Tarn Taran district, which is located about 30 km from the border with Pakistan.
According to officials, the drone was carrying a payload of weapons and ammunition, which was likely intended for use by terrorists operating in the region. The incident marks the latest in a series of drone-related security breaches in the region, highlighting the increasing use of unmanned aerial vehicles by terrorist organizations to carry out attacks.
The BSF has launched an investigation into the incident and is working with other security agencies to identify the individuals or groups responsible for the drone’s operation. The incident has also raised concerns about the need for enhanced surveillance and security measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
