New Delhi, May 2: India recorded 3,325 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, indicating a significant drop in daily cases. The country’s active infections have also decreased to 44,175, marking a considerable improvement in the COVID-19 situation. The recovery rate has also witnessed a steady increase, with a total of 2,12,65,011 people recovering from the virus so far. However, the authorities are still urging citizens to take necessary precautions, such as maintaining social distancing, wearing masks, and getting vaccinated, to prevent the further spread of the virus. The country has been ramping up its vaccination efforts, with more than 15 crore doses administered so far. Despite the progress made, the situation is being closely monitored by the concerned authorities as the country remains cautious and vigilant in the fight against the pandemic.
