Srinagar, October 12: The Meteorological Centre in Srinagar has made projections for a five-day spell of wet weather, commencing from October 14. This forecast encompasses the expectation of widespread light to moderate rain, coupled with snowfall at higher elevations in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Met office has highlighted the likelihood of intermittent light to moderate rain and snowfall across the region, with a probability of 75 percent between October 14 and 18. Furthermore, the weather is expected to transition from mainly clear to partly cloudy and cloudy towards Friday evening, with the potential for rain or snow in scattered areas of Jammu and Kashmir, especially at higher altitudes.
