SRINAGAR, Apr 14: After the forecast for a wet spell following April 15, there has been a slight rise in night temperature, as per officials. On Friday, the low temperature in Srinagar was recorded at 9.0°C, which is 1.4°C above normal. Qazigund and Pahalgam also recorded temperatures similar to the previous night, while Kokernag and Gulmarg experienced a rise in temperature. The official also mentioned the temperatures recorded in Jammu, Banihal, Batote, Katra, Bhadarwah, Leh, and Kargil. For the next 24 hours, mainly dry weather is expected. However, from April 16-17, scattered to fairly widespread places of Kashmir and a few places of Jammu division may experience intermittent light rain, thunderstorm, and lightning with occasional moderate intensity rains for a short period. From April 18-19, fairly widespread places of Kashmir division and few places of Jammu division may experience intermittent light to moderate rain, thunderstorm, and lightning. From April 20-21st, a few places may experience generally cloudy weather with intermittent light rain, thunderstorms, and lightning. Finally, from April 22-26, the weather is expected to be mainly dry.
