JAMMU, Apr 17:The Meteorological (MeT) office has predicted partly to mainly cloudy weather with a chance of rain or thunderstorms in Jammu and Kashmir in the next 24 hours. The MeT department statement mentioned that the scattered areas may experience thunderstorms and rainfall from late afternoon onwards. During the last 24 hours, the weather remained mainly cloudy in the Union Territory. The minimum temperature in Srinagar was recorded at 10.7 degrees Celsius, while Pahalgam and Gulmarg had 5.5 degrees Celsius and 3.5 degrees Celsius, respectively. Leh in Ladakh had a minimum temperature of 2 degrees Celsius, and the figures for Kargil and Drass were not available. Meanwhile, Jammu had 25.9 degrees Celsius, Katra 20.8 degrees Celsius, Batote 13 degrees Celsius, Banihal 10.8 degrees Celsius, and Bhaderwah 8.9 degrees Celsius as the minimum temperature.
