Srinagar, July 26: The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast indicating partly to generally cloudy weather during the daytime in Jammu and Kashmir, with the possibility of light to moderate thundershowers at many places until July 28. According to a meteorological official quoted by GNS, there is also a warning of “isolated heavy rainfall” over the Jammu region, especially during late night and early morning hours.
From July 29 to July 31, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy. The official has also cautioned about potential risks of flash floods, mudslides, and landslides during this period. It is advised that people exercise caution and avoid venturing near streams, rivers, and other vulnerable areas during this time. Stay safe and vigilant.
