New Delhi, Apr 13: In a video address to a ‘Rozgar Mela’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke of the government’s proactive approach towards technology and infrastructure, shunning the reactive approach of the past. He mentioned the success of the ‘Mudra’ loan project, which has created over eight crore new entrepreneurs, and criticised those who ridiculed the scheme without understanding its potential. Though he didn’t name anyone, his comments seemed aimed at Congress veteran P Chidambaram. Modi also highlighted various development figures, such as the increase in electrified rail lines and the laying of optical fibre in villages, which have created numerous employment opportunities.
