Apr 06 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) derives inspiration from Lord Hanuman in its fight against corruption in India. Speaking at a BJP event in Gujarat, the PM highlighted the importance of honesty and transparency in public life and called for a collective effort to root out corruption from the country.
PM Modi also praised Lord Hanuman for his loyalty and selfless service to Lord Ram, stating that these qualities were essential in the fight against corruption. He urged the party members to emulate these qualities and work towards building a corruption-free India.
The PM’s statements come amid ongoing debates about corruption in the country, with several high-profile cases involving politicians and public officials coming to light in recent times. The BJP has been pushing for greater transparency in governance and has made the fight against corruption a key plank of its political agenda.
The event, titled “Vijay Sankalp Sammelan”, was attended by several senior BJP leaders, including Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and BJP National President J.P. Nadda. The PM praised the party for its electoral successes in the recent state assembly elections and urged the members to continue working towards the party’s vision of a developed and prosperous India.
PM Modi’s comments on Lord Hanuman have drawn mixed reactions from various quarters, with some criticizing the BJP for appropriating a religious figure for political gain. However, the party has defended the PM’s statements, stating that Lord Hanuman is a symbol of devotion, strength, and righteousness, which are values that the party upholds.
