New Delhi, May 4 : President of India, Satya Pal Malik, began his three-day visit to Odisha today to review the progress of various developmental initiatives in the state. During his visit, the President is scheduled to meet with the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik, and other senior officials to discuss the state’s development plans and to assess the impact of various central government schemes in the region. The President will also visit several ongoing development projects, including the construction of a new airport in Jharsuguda and the expansion of the Paradip Port. In addition, he will inaugurate a new campus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Bhubaneswar. The visit is expected to strengthen the ties between the central government and the state administration and to provide impetus to the development of Odisha.
