Jammu, Apr 25: Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik has denied allegations that he started raising questions about the 2019 Pulwama terror attack only after leaving office. Malik had recently alleged intelligence failures and lack of aircraft for the movement of security personnel during the attack. He clarified that he had raised the issue on the day of the attack itself. Malik also commented on the CBI’s recent summons to him and stated that it was not linked to his criticism of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government. He further expressed his opinion that Defence Minister Rajnath Singh could be a serious candidate for the post of prime minister. Additionally, Malik stated that the BJP’s prospects in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are uncertain and that the party may need to make some changes. He also suggested that if the BJP projects Vasundhara Raje as its Chief Ministerial candidate in the Rajasthan assembly elections, it could increase their chances of victory.
