In another recent incident, a joint operation by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir police resulted in the elimination of a terrorist in the Reasi district. This operation led to the recovery of war-like stores, including an AK series assault rifle with magazines during the subsequent search.
Furthermore, the Indian Army successfully neutralized an improvised explosive device (IED) in the same region on September 3, averting a potential threat.
Just two weeks ago, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested two individuals for harboring terrorists responsible for the January attack in Dhangri village, Rajouri district, where five innocent civilians lost their lives. The NIA had taken over the case, initially registered at Rajouri Police Station, which included various sections of the Indian Penal Code, the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act 1967, and the Arms Act.
