Jammu, September 09- Former Chief Spokesperson AAP Shri Jagdeep Singh, along with several Sarpanchs and Panches were joined into the Congress party by the JKPCC Chief Shri Vikar Rasool Wani along with working president Shri Raman Bhalla, Kapil Singh ( Spokesperson, Dwarka Choudhary, Taranjeet Singh Tony,) Rajveer Singh, Namarata Sharma, Jatin Raina and Ricky Dalotra.
Others who joined include Sansar Chand, Sukhdev Ji, Gurdeep Singh, Raj Kumari, Gurdev Singh, Ramesh Chander Sharma, Raj Kumar, Gurcharan Singh . They expressed full faith on the policies and programmes of Congress party and its leadership Shri Mallikarjun Kharge and Shri Rahul Gandhi.
Vikar Rasool Wani President JKPCC while welcoming him to the Congress party, extensively dealt with emerging political scenario in the JKUT, where Congress party is fast emerging as the only choice of people because of its progressive policies, democratic and secular values being strengthened by the party. He said that secularism is the strength of Indian Nation and only Congress can lead the state and the entire Nation to the path of peace, progress and prosperity by strengthening secular fabric of this country.
Wani said that both Modi led Central Govt. and LG Administeration in the state have failed to fulfill even a single commitment with the people and brought miseries for the common man due to their wrong policies. The achievement of Govt. is that the divisive forces have succeeded in vitiating the atmosphere of peace and harmony in the Country. There is hue and cry everywhere and nobody feels secure in the present regime. He Said that the for their anti-national policies and assured new comers in the party that a state of fair deal and justice will prevail only under Congress Regime.
Addressing the gathering former Minister and Vice President PCC Shri Raman Bhalla lashed out at the BJP Govt. for crushing the poor and the common man under huge taxes leading to record price rise, property tax, large scale unemployment and arbitrary downgrading of the historical state. All sections of the society are resenting against the dictatorial policies of the Modi Govt., be they common man, unemployed youth, students, traders, transporters, adhoc, contractual, daily wagers, need based, pensioners, and others but the centre Govt. and the UT administration are insensitive and indifferent to the genuine demands of the different sections. He said Congress party shall aggressively continue to raise the issues of different sections of people and seek early restoration of statehood.
Speaking on the occasion Jagdeep Singh said that he was impressed with the working and secular approach of Congress party which is progressing very fast under the dynamic leadership of Shri Mallikarjun Kharge and Shri Rahul Gandhi Ji. He further said that the sincere efforts put in by PCC President Shri Vikar Rasool Wani, he was highly impressed by the party functioning which motivated him to join Congress party under the leadership of Shri Wani.
