In light of the ongoing volatile weather conditions, authorities have issued an order to close Sinthan and Margan passes, restricting all movements until May 9 to mitigate any potential emergencies.
An advisory, reported by GNS, urges residents of Tehsil Larnoo and tourists to avoid venturing into areas prone to landslides and shooting stones, considering the wide-spread and heavy rainfall and snowfall predicted by the Meteorological Department.
Additionally, the advisory highlights the likelihood of traffic disruption on Sinthan pass and Margan pass roads due to rainfall, thunderstorms, and snowfall. Consequently, individuals are advised against traveling on these routes on May 8th and 9th, 2023.
