New Delhi, Aug 05 : The Monsoon Session of the Haryana Assembly is set to begin on August 25, as decided in the state Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday.
During the meeting, the Cabinet approved an amendment to the notification of the Programme to Accelerate Development for MSME Advancement (PADMA) Policy. As per the amendment, each block will now witness the development of one new MSME industrial cluster covering an area of at least 25 acres, which was previously set at 100 acres. These clusters will consist of a minimum of 20 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), along with other necessary infrastructure.
Additionally, the Cabinet gave its approval for the Haryana Gaurav Samman Scheme, 2023, aimed at honoring Padma Awardees. Under this scheme, eligible recipients of the Padma Award will receive an honorarium of Rs 10,000 per month.
